I'm going to stop apololgizing for being a bad blogger, cause it loses its meaning after so many times, right? I'm busy and boring so instead of making a dozen posts where I detail my blah daily routine, you get rare somewhat interesting posts, k?
I got contacts today. The world is brilliant. So are the pages of Womens' Health. Oh, and 3D Movies, (cough Justin Bieber Never Say Never cough cough *throat clear* blush blush) here I come. Can't wait to NOT wear glasses beneath the glasses. That's one thing I really hated during all five trips to see Tron: Legacy over the winter break. When you're eyes are off as far as vision goes, 3D is not that great...so I wore my glasses at the risk of putting a permanent dent on both sides of my nose and it was much better. Why did you keep going to see it after the first time, it's just a movie, what a pain in the butt. Oh hush...I will see a movie multiple times if I want. Nose dents are a small price to pay when 2 hours of Garrett Hedlund are the payoff.
School is going really well, and I'm really enjoying work lately. Life is seeming to get better this year. Not that my life was so bad before, but it's nice to really notice my happiness. I've lost over 20 lbs (yeah can you believe it?!) on Weight Watchers since October, and as I've posted before I'm loving Zumba and this new get fit be healthy thing I've got going on.
Valentine's Day is coming up. Yes, the day where we celebrate the ones we love. And where I remember how much I don't have a boyfriend. Who needs one? It's year three of the single life and not that I'm gloating or have anything against relationships, I don't, I'm actually quite excited at the prospect of my next one, whenever it will be, but I'm loving this me time. I love spending time with friends and focusing on me. Plus all of my friends are married enough for all of us :) Sadie and I are doing the hotel room again this year...we did it a couple years ago and had some friends join us for a night of hot tubbing, movies, and good times. I like going on mini-stay-cations like that. It's close obviously and will be so much fun. Friendships like ours are just as important as romantic relationships because having that other person in my life that compliments my personality and allows me to be myself means the world to me. I can tell her anything and she's always there for me. That's what meaningful relationships are all about anyways. I just love my Sadie. Happy Valentine's Day to you all and I hope you are all having a good year.

Love to see you taking advantage of that "me" time! And love your little tid bit about Sadie...aww tender! :) Love you girl!
